Enrollment & Registration

Thank you for applying to be part of the PSD Global Academy community!

To be considered for enrollment, please complete the following steps in the order shown:

 
1. School of Choice form - click here
  • The School of Choice waitlist will be reviewied by PSD Global Academy. 
  • As space becomes available on the waitlist, you will be notified to complete the following (in the order shown):

  • All parts of the application must be completed to be considered for enrollment.
  • Please email questions to Ms. Chris Hagge chhagge@psdschools.org
3. Course Registration
  • You will be contacted by your Counselor to make an appointment
  • This step will not occur until you have been notified about your School of Choice status (see #1), and we have received a completed application (#2).
4. Enrollment Paperwork
  • You will be contacted by the PGA Main Office regarding your enrollment and required paperwork.

Important Dates for the 2012-2013 School Year

  • January 27, 2012: deadline for first consideration (grades 6-12)
  • February 10, 2012: deadline for first consideration (grades K-5)
  • April 1, 2012: deadline for second consideration (all grades)
  • After April 1, 2012: as space available

Enrollment Options

- on your applications, please indicate which option you prefer:

1)    100% HOME-BASED

      Students complete online courses (with CO licensed online teachers) under the daily supervision of a parent/guardian.  All students have the added benefit of local support from PSD staff.

2)    ENRICHMENT / HYBRID - space limited

        Students still complete online courses at home, under the daily supervision of a parent/guardian.  However, students can choose to use one of his/her electives to come on-site once per week to attend enrichment activities with other online students.  The half-day enrichment program includes math, literacy, current topics, and “specials” (like art, music, PE, guest speakers, and labs). Because students receive credit for this as an elective, weekly attendance is required.
