* Students Complete Community Service in Northern Colorado

We are incredibly proud of our entire K-12 student body for completing their Fall School-wide Service Project for 2011!  As part of the United Way Make-A-Difference-Day campaign, PGA Student Council voted to collect warm clothing and canned food for distribution in our local community.  The students also voted to make it a school wide challenge to see which class (elementary, middle, or senior high) could collect the most donations.  We are proud to report:

  • Warm clothing: over a dozen LARGE boxes full!
  • Food: over 150 non-perishable items!

Mrs. Fenlason's primary class of K-2 students also went on a Field Trip to the Larimer County Food Bank.  They were able to see how the Food Bank operates, calculate weight and volume of food items, and learn about community resources.

PS - The elementary school won the challenge and received a hot chocolate party served by Student Council.  Great job!
