I have been a teacher in Poudre School District for 12 years. I am married to a really cool guy named Jon, and we have two boys who attend Poudre High School. We also have two dogs and a cat.
I live in the foothills of Fort Collins near Red Feather Lakes. I enjoy the outdoors a great deal. Exspecailly camping with my family in our 71 VW Bus.

Teaching alows me to contine my journey as a lifelong learner. I get to meet some great people of all ages. Each school year brings new people into my life. I am never bored and often find myself stepping outside my comfort zone which keeps things interesting. Teaching is challenging and rewarding.

Family, traveling, hiking, camping, outdoors, animals,music and art. I love trying all kinds of new art projects. I like learning new techniques, exploring new mediums. I enjoy my family members and sharing their interest which right now includes, soccer and footballl games and watching my husband play drums in his very loud rock band.
The people. The staff is the nicest around. The Students are respectful and kind. I get to be creative as a teacher and continue my journey as a life long learner.

This year I will be teaching Fine arts at PGA for grade levels K-12.
I also teach art at Red Feather Lakes, Livermore and Stove Prairie.
I teach Art and Musical Theater for the Options Program.
My classroom is a place for students to fill safe exploring their creative side. I encourage students to try something new all the time. My Goal is to have students engaged in a lesson while smiling. and learning at the same time.
