Thank you for your interest in joining the PSD Global Academy community! PSD Global Academy is a public school within Poudre School District serving students from Kindergarten through 12th grade. We are a 100% School Choice school that offers two learning models of instruction, Hybrid and Virtual, that involve parents in the learning process with their child.
For the 2023-2024 school year:
- the Hybrid learning model will be available for grades Kindergarten - 12th
- the Virtual learning model will be available for grades 6th - 12th
As a 100% School Choice school, we follow the PSD School Choice process and policies.
- Each student must apply for a seat in their appropriate grade level for the first year of attendance.
- We cannot guarantee that there will be openings available at each grade level.
- As a public school, students must reside in the State of Colorado.
- even students participating in the Virtual path will have some on-campus events for which attendance is required.
We will hold two Information Nights this year for families interested in learning more about PSD Global Academy. More information will be available via our calendar as we get closer to these dates
- Thursday, December 1st; 5:30 - 7:00
- Thursday, January 19th; 5:30 -7:00
Enrolling During an Active School Year
Any student that wishes to enroll during a current school year must complete a Student Transfer Request Form, which requires approval by either the Assistant Superintendent of Elementary Schools or the Assistant Superintendent of Secondary Schools. More information about transfer requests, as well as the form to make a transfer request, please visit the PSD School Options and Choice webpage.
School Choice Timeline
Specific dates for the timeline change from year to year, so general dates are included in the table below, and updated to specific dates as those are determined. For more information, and to access the application website, please visit the PSD School Options and Choice webpage.

Course Registration 2023-2024
Our counselors will work with high school students and their families to learn about and discuss high school requirements, complete course requests, and register for courses for the upcoming school year. We hope to complete all meetings in the spring, but some may need to be scheduled to take place during the summer. You may be contacted either by phone or email, so please be sure to check your junk folder.
Students entering 6th through 8th grades will be enrolled in one quarter each of PE, Art, Music, and Extended Learning Opportunity classes in addition to being placed into the core classes of Science, Language Arts, History, and Math based on the course progression they are currently following and their current teacher’s recommendation for Math.
- This is considered a full course load at PGA.
- 8th graders will be enrolled in a Health class for 2nd semester, unless they have previously completed the class.
Spanish Language classes are available to 7th and 8th graders in place of quarterly electives, however pursuing this option must be discussed with a counselor before registration can take place.
