Hello! I am Erica Ciardullo, a passionate educator of 12 years, determined to support all my students more than just academically but emotionally and menally as well, especially now, in these times. Last school year, I worked at PSDV and my biggest take-away is that students want empathetic, understanding, compassionate, knowledgeable and gracious teachers. I am confident that these are the qualities I possess and have been fine tuning over the past decade. I believe in and love building strong relationships with my students, parents and community as this is key to students academic success. I have worked with students who come from diverse backgrounds and have diverse aspirations. I am excited for my new journey here at PGA!
As a Social Studies Teacher, it is crucial for me to teach students to become critical thinkers, challenging them to make educated, well-informed decisions. Students want to discuss real-world issues and in my classroom I create a safe, cohesive, environment for students of all backgrounds to safely discuss a variety of controversial topics.
When I am not teaching you’ll find me with my husband and 15 year old son on our small family ranch enjoying our cattle, sheep, and livestock dogs Marv, Mosey and Osmond!
