Jessy Lloyd

Elementary Teacher

Teaching is not only my job, but also my hobby! Over the past 20+ years, I have loved all the ups and downs of my career. It has been my pleasure to make an impact on so many children in my community. My Journey in the Poudre School District began after I received my undergraduate degree in elementary education from Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA and my masters in education from University of Northern Colorado.  Prior to teaching in Fort Collins, I taught overseas in South Korea.

When I am not in the classroom, you can find me enjoying time outside with my family: My husband Travis, and my children, Levi and Robyn. With Levi, we spend our time adventuring on our bikes. I love to share Levi's success in racing Down Hill at an international level.  And sometimes I get to compete too! My favorite place to ride my bike is Kicking Horse, BC.  Our lovely daughter Robyn, she is a Japanese expert!  She has already traveled to Tokyo as an exchange student and plans to do it again in the near future.

My kids have helped me hone my teaching skills; Levi is active, busy, intense, and mathematical and Robyn is quiet, sweet, sensitive and artistic.

Every child is a gift.  Thank you for sharing yours with me.
